Auburn Needleworks was founded in 1982. It is now on it's third owner. My goal is to continually strive to make this a fun place to visit and make new friends as well as supply all your knitting/crochet and needlepoint needs. Please stop by or drop me a note and let me know how I can better serve you.

We cater to the knitters and stitchers of the local area and beyond. The shop is an easily accessible destination off Interstate 80; many people stop on their way to the mountains or to San Francisco.

Both knitters and stitchers are sure to find something they need or want in the shop. We will gladly take special orders if we don't have it. We are always available to assist with questions you have on your project, or to help pick out threads or yarn.

On Tuesdays, there is a group that has been meeting for over 6 years and we always find room for more. They stitch, compare ideas and just enjoy the special time for themselves; you are welcome to join us anytime, or just come in and see the fun things everyone has in progress. There is always someone who can help you with a problem or an idea.

On Fridays, we have drop in knitting for the knitters. We have a great time, we share ideas, and have a few laughs. Most Friday's our knitting instructor will be available for free tech support if you really get stuck! Please call to confirm her being there. Please note: December is paid reservations only. We hope to see you there!
